Bob Marshall is the author of Diary of A Yankee-Hater (1981) and editor of Lawrence Park: Bronxville’s Turn-of-the-Century Art Colony (1991). He worked as a lawyer for Time Magazine in New York, then moved in 1994 to Minnesota, where he has become a fan of the Twins and a docent at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. He has been compiling rock’n’roll lists since he heard the Crew-Cuts sing Sh’Boom and been serious about film since Last Year in Marienbad.

“Lists may not say who you are, but they focus your opinions.”
